yeah i just dont get why you think d-shot or savage are imba or whatever. they are good skills that give you a nice (but not overpowered) benefit for having actual skill and is very much an active skill. If a Ranger gets a d-shot on you, you deserve that disabled time.

There are worse than Ranger interrupts, for example a Mesmer using just a single skill [[Psychic [email protected]] can interrupt and disable any skill regardless of line of sight ever 2-3sec. until they run out of energy. It's totally over powered.

Wrong. Don't ignore the fact that Dshot and Savage were acknowledged by ANet to be on thin line between powerful and overpowered, and slight nerfs were discussed. The only reason why they have never been touched is because they were/are needed to stop other much more overpowered skills in the game.

At least with overpowered warrior shutdown in the past there was always a fail point (curses -> slow cast, b surge -> 3/4 spam). It's retarded that you can sit there in your 40% set and not get a single break. Unless the mesmer is RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing terrible at it or you have a ff necro, gfg.

You can make a small nerf on ranger interrupts when the 50 overpowered skills that rangers have to interrupt or their team loses are nerfed as well.

That's exactly what I was gona say when I read that...nerf ranger interrupts and you'll end up with more pd mes's which are more annoying imo, but are much more of a liability and less flexible.

Dervsmite is kinda gone now, but the biggest issue I had with WS was the spammability of a 100+hit attack. It's still pretty strong, but perhaps justified as a derv alternative role to being a tree.

I don't care if the skill is nerfed I just said it's over powered because of it's spam rate, and it can interrupt any type of skill, even if it's behind a rock. PD seldom gets played in the current meta so who cares. If the job is interrupting tricky targets, then PD interrupts more often than a Ranger. You don't need to run PD on a Mes primary.

I don't think D-shot or Savage are overpowered.

I'm just reporting what I know and you don't, Mitch. Feel free to ask any one of your friends that was in a position to read about such discussions from over one year ago, and they should confirm it.

Dshot/Savage are extremely strong, and -- as Joe said -- if the game was balanced, they would likely need to be slightly toned down. In the end, rangers have always been a healthy template with an abusable primary attribute, a handful of very strong tools, and a big pile of trash skills.

I think Signet of Midnight should be upped to 20s recharge. So there is 5 seconds of downtime where the mesmer can die and can't just win vs melee with that skills. It's kind of crappy to have to run W/Rt when you want to use /E because of blind.

Also where the hell is the skill balance?
